Handy Mad Triad puzzle

Brand new puzzle. In the shape of a hand, of a total of approximately 5 inches across, containing 3 coloured wheels. It appears to have 6^7 permutations (= 279,936). Each of the 3 coloured wheels (each containing 6 small pieces) rotates, but as the 'internal' wheel also rotates, the colours become disordered. Note that the coloured wheels pieces are sequentially numbered, which complicates the solution further. As well as the obvious (but it's not !) solution, you can make cute patterns too.
